Joining Forces

Coldwell Banker Rounds & Porter is the recent merger of two highly-respected real estate and land development leaders in Summit County.  Coldwell Banker Bunchman Real Estate and Breckenridge Lands, LLC  have joined forces to bring a new dimension to the professional real estate and development industry in Summit County.

The two firms bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to this exciting new venture with an in-depth familiarity of Breckenridge and Summit County unmatched by any other company, period.

Community Pioneers

Breckenridge Lands literally helped shape the community you see today.  In 1958, Ralph Rounds, of Rounds & Porter Lumber Company in Wichita, Kansas, arrived with a vision to create a year-round mountain community.  Within two years, he became the largest private landowner in Summit County.  Ralph Rounds and his sons, Dwight and Bill Rounds, launched the original Breckenridge Ski Area with two Norwegian ski champions, Trygve Berge and Sigurd Rockne.   Because of their dream, a former mining settlement has transformed into the world-class ski resort you see today.

Since then, Breckenridge Lands, LLC has created many of Breckenridge’s most prestigious neighborhoods including:

• Braddock West

Their partnerships with the Town of Breckenridge have brought to life many of the recreational facilities and cultural centers enjoyed by residents and visitors today, such as:

Community of Caring

Breckenridge Lands has also donated hundreds of acres of open space and miles of public trails to our community.  Their team brings over 50 years of experience in all aspects of land development, from acquisition to ongoing property management.
